AI-generated content is rising, if you have been on any social media platform, you have noticed that everywhere, but it’s not only social media, it’s articles, videos, and even books.

# AI-Generated Books Rise

The rise of AI-generated e-book releases- I’m sure the grey number is much higher.

The more interesting question also: how is it in printed books?

# It’s All about Trust?

A lot also has to do with trusting the author. If you started writing before AI, people trust you more because it’s manually written. But also, there must be a way to still write today without getting lost in the AI flood.

I also find it concerning that AWS is restricted to 3 books per day (that was in 2023!), shouldn’t that be much lower?

Who writes more than one book a year? This is insane.

# Writing Manually

Good thing there’s still people writing manually, see Tim Ferriss:

Updated opinion 7 months later, but with the same messate at 2026-10-15:
I’m working on this new book right now and it’s like I am not using AI to write for me because if I do that, I’m done. […]. . But if you want to retain a function, a cognitive ability, be very careful about what you outsource. Why I Refuse to Let AI Write My Next Book

Me included, but the question is: how long will people withstand the temptation of doing the hard work of spending all the time? And again, how do we avoid the real books getting under with the flood?

# So how to Stay Relevant?

Though I certainly don’t have the answer, and I can only guess, I still think being true to yourself, writing from the heart, something you experienced, having a soul and character in your writing, and having conviction as Harry Dry said so nicely, is some thing that help. Otherwise I think we just have to wait until people are tired of reading generate text, even if good (though for writing, I haven’t come across yet), but what’s the point?

Time will tell, as always. Do you have a better answer? Write me, discuss in the link below. I’d like to know.
