Personalized API

On 2023-01-25, Hightouch announced their new offering: the Hightouch Personalization API.

This innovation piqued my interest, particularly due to its striking resemblance to the Analytics API which features GraphQL, API, and SQL interfaces.

This closely mirrors the concept of a Semantic Layer, commonly exemplified by the architectures of Cube and the dbt Semantic Layer. It leads me to ponder if Hightouch’s approach is essentially akin to these, or if there are nuances that I’m yet to uncover in their implementation?
