Writing is Hard
Everyone who can write has a competitive advantage because not everyone can do it. Tim Ferriss said that when he felt competitive in angel investing or podcasting, he was thinking of going back to writing.
In podcasting, with money, you can bring in more money and better production quality. Writing on the other side, is hard. Harder to replicate.
After all, good writing is hard; exceptional writing may be the hardest there is.
# Is AI solving this?
Big ideas are less about creativity and more about conviction. [..] So, what happened? ‘Sauce and other shit’ got incredibly cheap! [..] There is no AI prompt for conviction. Harry Dry
True writing is hard—and always will be. To me, you are writing from the heart and soul, and that’s a beautiful thing. More so these AI days. Writing from The heart.
Will AI replace Humans? I don’t think so. There’s no character, no soul, and it’s just average. Sure, it’s good at writing, but it’s not good at having a style, writing new things, or having a hugely large context (e.g., when I write an article over two years long, putting in my heart and soul). These writings will always have their place. We have digital print for a long time, yet books are still a thing.
As Harry says, AI has no conviction; There’s something missing, something human. Or picture this: who would like to read a book and one they liked momentarily, but then you want more and you find out that it’s written by a machine? How would you feel?
