The Data Warehouse Toolkit by Ralph Kimball

This is the book that got me started with the fundamentals of data engineering. before Joe Reis wrote Fundamentals of Data Engineering (Joe Reis, Matt Housley).

It teaches you how to Dimensional Model, Conformed dimensions, SCD2, and how to model data in general. It’s one of the best books, and their website is even more helpful nowadays.
