Pick your Battles

When writing, choose your battles. You can’t write about everything. Avoid traps from the get-go, either because you don’t like it or don’t believe in. The same goes for life.

I avoided AI for all times, and don’t regret it. Every time I see hyped up, I’m the more than happy to write about nerdish niches like Neovim, Obsidian, Markdown, data engineering, things I believe in and enjoy writing about.

I’m not against using AI

To be clear, I don’t avoid using it—Claude Code is the king for stuff that I’m not an expert in. But when writing, I don’t if I have the choice to. I also turn off all the distractions to be in the flow. Find more on Will AI Replace Human Thinking.
