Horizontal and Vertical Cut Out

This function is what I love Snagit for. But on Linux and Omarchy I don’t have this, see tradeoffs when I swiched from macOS.

But someone on Reddit built it into his tool called Editt, A beautiful Image Viewer and Editor. With Omarchy styling support. It’s written in Dart.

But 2026-08-05, I’ve build my own, called Omapic:

Horizontal and Vertical Cut Out that snagit proviees does not work on Omarchy. I had a workaound with GIMP, but now Editt is supporting it see: Horizontal and Vertical Cut Out.
